DR. MARILYN STINSON is a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has been in private practice in Arlington, Texas, for over 20 years. She is passionate about helping others develop life strategies and skills that will allow them to live more healthy lives personally and enjoy healthier relationships.
Dr. Stinson has been married for over thirty years and has three grown children. She and her husband are very active in their local church and enjoy traveling.
Dr. Stinson primarily counsels adults, but also guides some adolescents. She works with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), relationship problems (marital, premarital, adult child and parents, etc.) and other issues.
Dr. Stinson typically combines psychological and spiritual concepts in therapy. She believes the Bible is the best counseling / psychology book possible. Although Marilyn sees many clients who prefer Christian counseling, she respects those who do not want to bring spiritual matters into counseling, and works from this perspective with these clients.
